Step One - Sign-in to Microsoft Edge browser and personalize your experience

Open Microsoft Edge by locating the icon on desktop (or just search for the browser by pressing the Windows key and type Edge)

Option 1 - If this is the first time you open the browser, you will be presented with the setup screen, we recommend following this steps:


Click on Complete setup


Select how you want the browser to display the main page (we think Informational makes the most sense) and then click Confirm


Click in Sign in to sync data


Select Work or school account and then click Continue


Enter your email as your username (the login information you use at The Alex) and then click on Next


Enter your password and click Sign in


Leave Allow my organization to manage my device and click OK



Make sure the button in Yes is on and click in Confirm


Once you follow all these steps, you picture or initials will be shown beside the three dots.


Option 2 - If you have been using Microsoft Edge but you haven't sign-in, please follow these steps instead:


Once Microsoft Edge browser is open, click on the icon where a there is a silhouette of a person, and then click on the Sign in button. 

Select Work or school account and then click Continue


Then click Done


Click on Sync


You are done with Step One!


Step Two - How and what to search in the organization



Option 1 - Search on the address bar


Using your Microsoft edge browser (and once you completed step one), click on the address bar and start searching by typing in it. You can search by using common language or questions.



Option 2 - Search on Bing Search engine page


Navigate to bing.com and search on the search bar.
