When you try to login into your account, you might be asked additional information to secure your account. Follow this steps to complete this registration and have access to your account.


Locate your web browser and open it by double clicking on it.



Navigate to office.com


Click on the Sign In button


Enter your username (in this case your full email address) and click Next


Enter your password (the one you use to log into your computer


You will get a message saying that More information is required so click next


You will have to add at least one piece of information, it could be a phone number or an email address. 


To configure your phone, click on Set it up now

Note: You have 15 min to do the verification, otherwise you will have to start again.


Select your country and enter your phone number. You have two options to verify the account, by text or by call (in this example we use text me)

You will receive a code via text message to your phone (the one you entered). Enter that code and click on verify

As you can see, your account has a green checkmark on the left. As an option, you can now setup your email so click on Set it up now to configure.

Enter your a personal email address and click the email me button.

You will receive an email to the email address you specified with a code. Enter the code number and click on verify



Once you verify your phone, click finish and you are all set!

Continue to your account as you usually do.
