Purpose:
Setting up Two Factor Authentication is of paramount importance for organizations. This action will protect your account even if your password is compromised (you still need a good password!)
What will I need?
Minimum - A phone number or a different email address than your corporate one.
Recommended - A smart phone with the Microsoft Authenticator App (if you have a The Alex issued phone, the app is pre installed)

Microsoft has this video where they show how to enable it. We recommend to still follow our instructions and use the preferred way for two factor authentication.
Instructions
Enrolling using the web
Open your Microsoft Edge Browser
Login to office.com
After logging in, you will see the following message, click Next
Select Mobile App in How should we contact you? (Preferred Way)
Select Receive notifications for verification (Preferred Way) (unless you prefer to use verification codes)
Click on Set up and then click Next
After this, the following window will show, keep it open for next steps
Open the app on your phone and install the app (if applicable)
Open the app and agree the privacy terms by clicking the I agree button
Click in OK and then click in the + sign to add your account
Click on Allow
Then scan the QR code that you have in your web browser (see next step) (point the phone camera to the QR code)
Go to the website and press Next
Once you do this, you will receive a notification on your phone, push Approve
